We are a team of passionate Japanese green tea lovers dedicated to bringing the highest quality products straight from Japan to your doorstep.
Kyoto Beverages is the brainchild of a dynamic duo – Indian-born entrepreneur, Mr. Sahil Mahajan, and his Japanese wife, Ms. Miho Hashidate Mahajan. They both share a passion for Japanese green tea and a desire to introduce the world to the authentic taste of Japan.
Mr Sahil Mahajan’s love affair with Japan began in his early twenties when he traveled to Japan for the first time. It was during this time that he discovered his love for Japanese tea and became enamored by the various types of Japanese Green Teas.
Ms. Miho Hashidate Mahajan was born and raised in Chiba, a suburb of Tokyo and grew up surrounded by the rich traditions and culture of the city. She inherited her family’s love for tea and learned the art of tea-making from her grandmother.
Together, Mr. Sahil Mahajan and Ms. Miho Hashidate Mahajan decided to combine their expertise and passion for tea and founded Kyoto Beverages. Their mission is to provide the world with the highest quality Japanese green tea and other food products, while also promoting the culture and traditions of Japan.
